Intolerable Cruelty

So, A few weeks ago some chick came in with a fake ID. She took a scan of her own ID, changed the date, printed it, put it overtop of her actual ID and taped it in place. She did a really good job, it fooled whoever was at the door at the time. (Couldn't have been me...really!) We found it on the floor later.

Tonight she came back, using the same scam. I noticed her name right away. She handed me the ID and I looked at it and said "Why is there tape on your ID?" as I pulled the tape off revealing someone elses card underneath.

To drive my point home that I don't like being fooled I stepped out of line and yelled to everyone there "Who's old enough to get in this bar tonight?!" most raised their hands and cheered.
"Well, some underaged chick with a fake ID just tried to come in ahead of all of you, how do you feel about that?" I announced.. They all booed while she stood there, to her credit, smart enough to be embarrassed. I gave her ID back and wished her a good night.
"Thanks for that" she said sarcastically, but not without a little humour.

When she comes back on her birthday next month I fully intend on buying her a beer.
